Position Overview

Safetrust is seeking two Junior Supplier Quality Engineers to support our manufacturing and supplier quality operations. One position will be based on-site at our supplier facility in Ha Noi and one position will be based on-site at our supplier facility in Dong Nai.

This is an entry-level role focused on supporting product quality, inventory accuracy, and shipment readiness. The Junior Supplier Quality Engineer serves as Safetrust’s on-site representative at the supplier location, helping ensure products meet quality standards, inventory records are accurate, and customer shipments are prepared correctly and on schedule.


The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and eager to learn supplier quality and production processes.


Key Responsibilities


Quality Inspection & Verification

  • Perform visual and functional inspections of products and components.
  • Verify products meet Safetrust quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and document quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Escalate quality concerns to Safetrust Operations, Engineering, and supplier management teams.
  • Support containment and corrective action activities when quality issues are identified.

Inventory Verification & Shipment Readiness

  • Verify inventory quantities against production orders, packing lists, and shipment documentation.
  • Conduct routine inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
  • Confirm products, accessories, labels, and packaging materials are complete and accurate prior to shipment.
  • Verify shipment contents before products leave the supplier facility.
  • Assist in investigating inventory discrepancies and shortages.
  • Ensure shipment documentation is accurate and complete.

Supplier & Production Support

  • Monitor daily production activities and communicate status updates to Safetrust.
  • Support supplier readiness for production builds and customer orders.
  • Assist with new product introduction (NPI) activities, product validation, and pilot builds.
  • Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and inventory tracking documentation.
  • Participate in supplier meetings and provide updates regarding quality and inventory status.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve product quality, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Support implementation of process improvements and corrective actions.
  • Assist with supplier audits and quality reviews as requested.

Supplier Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor and report on supplier performance related to quality, production, inventory accuracy, responsiveness, and on-time shipment readiness.
  • Track and communicate risks that may impact production schedules, product quality, inventory availability, or customer deliveries.
  • Provide regular updates to Safetrust Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain leadership regarding supplier performance and operational concerns.
  • Escalate recurring issues, process gaps, resource constraints, or compliance concerns that may affect supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier quality issues, inventory discrepancies, production delays, and corrective actions.
  • Support the development and reporting of supplier performance metrics, including quality performance, inventory accuracy, production output, and delivery reliability.
  • Act as Safetrust's on-site representative, providing objective feedback and observations regarding supplier operations and overall performance.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field)
  • 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, production, inventory control, or supplier operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing and quality processes.
  • Ability to analyze information and identify discrepancies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard business software.
  • English reading and writing proficiency required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Experience performing inspections or inventory counts.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Experience working with international customers or suppliers.
  • Basic knowledge of quality tools such as 5 Why or Fishbone analysis.
