Salt Square is a growing outsourcing company providing high-quality software development services to clients across a wide range of industries. Our team is composed of skilled and dedicated professionals delivering innovative solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.

Our mission is to build reliable, scalable, and future-ready digital solutions tailored to each client's unique business needs. We foster a team-first culture where collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence are core values. From supporting startups in launching their first products to helping global enterprises scale their operations, we strive to deliver outstanding value on every project.

We are looking for a Mid-Level Salesforce Developer with a focus on CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) platforms to join our engineering team. You will be embedded on client engagements, working within distributed teams to configure, customize, and deliver Salesforce-based solutions across the revenue lifecycle. You will be expected to take real ownership of your work, with senior developers and solution architects available for guidance on larger design decisions.

Responsibilities

~2 min read

  • Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ solutions including product catalogs, pricing rules, discount models, approval workflows, and guided selling

  • Develop custom logic using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows where declarative configuration is not sufficient

  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems (ERP, billing, e-signature tools) using REST/SOAP APIs

  • Support CLM configuration including contract templates, clause libraries, and approval workflows

  • Write clean, testable code and participate actively in code reviews

  • Support testing and release cycles (unit testing, SIT, UAT) and production deployments

  • Participate in Kanban/Agile ceremonies, communicate progress, and flag blockers early

  • Use AI-augmented development practices as a standard part of daily work

  • Work directly within client environments and communicate effectively with client stakeholders across time zones

  • 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, comfortable working with the Salesforce data model, Flows, and declarative configuration

  • Working knowledge of Apex (classes, triggers, batch/scheduled Apex) and SOQL

  • Familiarity with Lightning Web Components (LWC) or Aura Components

  • Understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns, able to build and maintain integrations with third-party systems

  • Familiarity with CPQ concepts (product configuration, pricing, quoting) or CLM concepts (contract workflows, templates, approvals) on any platform

  • Comfortable with Git, pull requests, branching, and CI/CD practices

  • Agile/Scrum or Kanban experience, able to take on tasks, communicate progress, and escalate when stuck

  • Active use of AI tools in their development workflow (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar), we are looking for developers who treat AI as a core part of how they work, not an optional add-on

  • Strong English communication skills and comfort working in distributed, cross-timezone teams

  • Experience with .NET/C# development, particularly valuable for platform migration and integration work

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (native or Conga/Apttus) or any CLM platform

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other CRM/ERP platforms

  • Any Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, CPQ Specialist, Administrator)

  • Experience with document generation tools (Conga Composer, DocuSign, or similar)

  • Experience with e-signature integrations

  • Exposure to DevOps tooling for Salesforce (Copado, Gearset, or similar)

  • Background in professional services or consulting, with experience being embedded on client engagements
