Sapp Bros., Inc. seeks a passionate and hands-on General Manager to join our retail management team. As part of our team, you'll help maintain our commitment to integrity, quality, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

→Conduct interviews and select top talent to build a high-performing team.
→Lead weekly staff meetings and inspire sales associates to achieve targets.
→Investigate and resolve cash shortages and inventory discrepancies.
→Mentor and coach direct reports to effectively address operational challenges.
→Ensure compliance with company recruitment processes and protocols.
→Monitor and reconcile gasoline sales and other financial transactions.
→Maintain an updated schedule and approve vacation requests.
→Attend safety and department head meetings to uphold safety standards.
→Oversee facility cleanliness through regular inspections and vendor interactions.
→Manage capital improvement budgets and set ambitious sales goals.
→Analyze repair and maintenance costs to optimize profitability.
→Collaborate across departments to understand operational issues and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent required. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.
Previous experience in general management within retail or restaurant settings.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and facilities.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and other relevant software.
Ability to make quick, decisive decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
