As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Rivian, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier engineering talent for our technical teams. Your expertise will ensure we continue to build cutting-edge software solutions that drive the future of sustainable mobility. In this role, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers and technical leaders to craft effective hiring strategies, build strong talent pipelines, and deliver exceptional candidate experiences. You'll leverage your deep understanding of engineering roles, to assess technical expertise and cultural alignment. Responsibilities

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for software engineering and other technical roles, from sourcing to onboarding.

Proactively source top-tier software talent through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and employee referrals.

Screen resumes and interview candidates to assess technical skills and cultural fit.

Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ensure alignment with recruiting strategies.

Provide regular updates and insights to hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leadership on the recruiting pipeline and progress.

Facilitate candidate interviews, manage feedback loops, and support hiring decisions.

Negotiate offers and manage the closing process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Leverage data and recruiting metrics to identify areas for process improvement and drive hiring efficiencies.

Participate in recruiting events, such as tech talks, meetups, and interview days, to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.

Maintain and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring compliance with recruiting best practices.
Requirements
~1 min read5+ years of deep experience in technical recruiting, with a focus on software and electrical engineering roles.
Demonstrated ability to source and attract top software engineering talent.
Strong understanding of software development and technical roles, with the ability to assess technical skills effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and using recruiting metrics to drive decision-making.
Passion for delivering a great candidate experience and contributing to a positive team culture.
