ADI is seeking a sharp, analytically-minded Data & Reporting Analyst to join our Commercial Data Analytics team. Reporting to the Commercial Data Analytics Leader, this role will partner with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Commercial Operations to translate data into the insights that drive growth, margin expansion, and operational efficiency across our North American commercial business.
This is a high-visibility seat for someone who wants to graduate from building decks and models in a service environment to owning the analytics agenda inside an operating business — directly influencing how a multi-billion-dollar distributor goes to market.
JOB DUTIES:
- Partner with commercial leaders to produce recurring and ad-hoc analyses that drive customer acquisition, share-of-wallet expansion, and retention
- Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools that give sales, marketing, and finance teams real-time visibility into performance
- Design KPIs, financial analyses, and executive-ready dashboards to measure performance across the commercial organization
- Develop targeted customer lists and campaign reporting to enable and measure the ROI of sales and marketing campaigns
- Generate analytical insights to support and grow strategic vendor relationships with industry partners
- Work across multiple ERP and BI systems to collect, organize, model, and operationalize data
- Support the strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting process for the commercial business unit
- Synthesize findings into clear, persuasive presentations and recommendations for senior leadership
Requirements
~1 min read- 1–3+ years of analytical experience — investment banking, management consulting, equity research, FP&A, or corporate strategy backgrounds are strongly preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including complex formulas (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, nested logic), pivot tables, dynamic arrays, and large-dataset manipulation
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL (or a comparable query language) — comfort joining tables, writing aggregations, and reasoning about data models
- A self-starter mindset: comfortable operating with autonomy, ambiguity, and minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally without direct authority, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a results-oriented bias toward action
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred; Tableau, Looker, or similar acceptable)
- Exposure to Power Query (M), DAX, Python, or R
- Experience in distribution, B2B, or commercial/sales-driven environments
- Benefits that go beyond Mexican labor law, ensuring your well-being and peace of mind.
- A collaborative and inclusive work environment where your contributions are valued.
- Opportunities for continuous professional growth and skill development through training, mentoring, and challenging projects.
- Access to cutting-edge tools, resources, and a supportive team to help you excel.
- The chance to work with a global, innovative company shaping the future in its industry.
