Join the Visitor Experience team for a rewarding summer role at the beautiful Olympic Sculpture Park! In this role you will deliver exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming visitors, promoting park offerings, and providing helpful information to enhance visitor’s experience. This role specifically supports efficient daily golf operations, contributing to smooth, professional, and visitor-focused park activities in a dynamic outdoor environment.

- Provide a friendly, engaging, and welcoming experience for all visitors
- Maintain knowledge of the museum’s current exhibitions, programs, and events in order to actively share information and engage visitors
- Sell golf tickets accurately while following established policies, procedures, and discount guidelines
- Sell memberships accurately while following established procedures, ensuring correct information on the digital forms, and sharing all member information
- Assist the Supervisor with opening and closing procedures, including point-of-sale setup/breakdown and golf supply setup/breakdown
- Support safe and efficient visitor flow by adjusting stanchions and signage as directed
- Facilitate line management and visitor flow during peak periods
- Deliver high-quality work by adhering to operational procedures, service standards, and team expectations
- Contribute to an institutional focus of delivering exceptional, welcoming, and inclusive customer service—creating positive, meaningful experiences for all visitors, every time
- Participate in institutional learning opportunities to grow our collective understanding and integration of antiracism, cultural competency, and equity values into SAM’s work
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Six months customer service, ticketing, and/or frontline operations experience with an emphasis on sales
- Orientation towards exceptional customer service
- Outgoing personality, comfortable interacting with the public, project an amiable and professional image with visitors and staff
- Ability to maintain a positive approach when dealing with challenging customer service matters
- General math skills
- Ability to navigate the varied terrain at OSP; to stand or walk around for varied times and are responsible for weather-appropriate clothing and footwear for the varied weather
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of Museum supporters, visitors, members, co-workers, vendors, and volunteers professionally and tactfully
- Exercise discretion in maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and internet-based research
- Ability to learn Tessitura, the CRM and ticketing system
- Ability to pass and maintain security background check clearance
- One year of experience in a museum or arts & culture sector environment
- Familiarity with Tessitura
- Familiarity with Asana and Slack
- On-site orientation and training: June 10th - June 12th
- Opening Week: June 16th - 21st
- Closing Weekend: September 6th & 7th
