Backend Developer

• University degree in computer science or a similar field
• At least 5 years of experience as a software developer
working on back-end systems using state-of-the-art
development practices.
• At least 4 years of backend software development with
Javascript and Typescript using nodeJS and nestJS, other
languages are a plus.
• Profound understanding of nodeJS and its ecosystem.
• Expertise in non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• Experience in integrating third-party software systems such
as custom-built systems, LMS, CMS, ERP, CRM, etc.
• Experience applying asynchronous enterprise architecture
patterns and using message queue products.
• Experience in Agile Software Development (Scrum)
• Collaboration Skills: Familiarity with version control tools like
Git, and experience collaborating with front-end developers
for seamless integration.
• Ability to work in a structured and goal-oriented manner
with a lean but quality-oriented approach.
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Software Development and in
applying design patterns.
• Knowledge in cloud development with cloud patterns (i.e.,
SaaS) and cloud providers (ideally with GCP) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in web-based front-end development
and/or App development is a plus.
• Basic knowledge with Kubernetes, Docker and DevOps
continuous delivery pipelines is a plus.
