Field Engineer

Position Summary:

• →Create Submittal log utilizing Procore (and other project management software)
• →Coordinate with PM to assign appropriate due dates for submittals
• →Follow-up with Subcontractors to ensure submittals are complete by deadline

• →Assist in monitoring general contractors’ work and safety.          

• Take Meeting minutes and distribute

• Work with PM to track project schedule on weekly basis (or as needed)

• Ensure drawings sets are kept current & subcontractors are notified of changes.

• Work with PM & Superintendent to create, track, and complete Project Punchlist
• Compile as-built drawings

• Prepare purchase orders and create subcontracts

• 3-5 years of experience in Construction and site work
• Working knowledge of construction or design engineering required.
• Experience in manufacturing plant construction is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work with computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook, and to learn others as needed.
