Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Acquire knowledge of all finance and accounting functions and understand impact of each on the business
- →Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances.
- →Reconcile prepaid accounts and process related recurring monthly journal entries.
- →Assist with implementation of various process efficiency improvements
- →Provide support to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable coordinators to ensure smooth transaction processing.
- →Prepare a daily cash forecast to support short-term cash flow management.
- →Reconcile assigned balance sheets each month
- →Complete the daily gross profit report and other financial reports as assigned
- →Complete timely filing of fuel and other taxes reported and paid to applicable state and local taxing authorities as assigned
- →Cross train with other finance team members to be able to provide support and back-up for accounting functions
- →Complete projects and other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Committed to the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity, and innovation
- Proficient in computer technology including PowerBI, Excel, and email
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles
- Able to manage a variety of simultaneous administrative tasks
- Able and willing to work flexible hours
