Project Manager

Sienna Systems is seeking a Project Manager to join our U.S. Customs and Border Protection Enterprise Network Architecture & Engineering Services Support (ENAESS) team, in Ashburn, Virginia.

This is technical project management with actual technical content. You will run schedules and dependencies across network engineering, cloud migration, colocation, and data center relocation workstreams, and coordinate between the engineers, the government leads, and program management. The engineers are good; what they need is someone who can hold the plan, drive the change process, and keep the customer informed without translating everything into mush.

• $95,000 – $100,000 based on experience
• $5,000 signing bonus for candidates with an active CBP background investigation, payable after 60 days
• Technical program work — network engineering, cloud migration, data center relocation — rather than status-deck production

• →Provide project management support across network engineering, cloud migration, colocation, and data center relocation workstreams.
• →Build and maintain schedules, track deliverables, and manage dependencies across technical teams.
• →Coordinate change requests, emergency change requests, and emergency break fixes with all applicable stakeholders, following change management policy.
• →Collaborate with government leads and customers to prioritize, track, and complete engineering projects, service requests, and tasks.
• →Track and report project status, risks, and issues, including weekly status reporting.
• →Support planning for on-demand task assignments and surge requirements.

• US citizenship, and the ability to pass a five-year CBP background investigation (SF-85P, Public Trust). Work cannot begin until the investigation is adjudicated.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience
• Project management experience on technical infrastructure or IT modernization work
• Change management experience — coordinating CRs, ECRs, and EBFs with stakeholders
• Demonstrated excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills

• Data center move or relocation experience
• A favorable CBP background investigation or DHS High Risk background investigation within the past 4 years
• Experience in networking and information technology, including Agile and Scrum methodologies
• PMP certification
• ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification
• Prior federal or DHS/CBP program experience

Salary: $95,000 – $100,000 based on experience
