We are seeking an experienced automotive service professional to supervise and manage the lube and regular maintenance operations across our dealership locations in Anuradhapura, Yakkala, and Ehiliyagoda. The successful candidate will oversee preventive maintenance operations, periodic servicing activities, lubrication services, and quick service workflows to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround, service quality, and maximum customer satisfaction.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining high-quality preventive maintenance and operational discipline across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and electric vehicles (EVs) while driving workshop productivity and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lube & Maintenance Operations Management (50%): Supervise daily maintenance activities including oil changes, filter replacements, inspections, and fluid checks. Manage service bay allocation, technician workflows, and service schedules to optimize turnaround times, while monitoring workshop consumables, lubricants, and equipment usage.
- →Team Supervision & Customer Service Coordination (50%): Lead and manage maintenance technicians, quick service teams, and support staff to enforce operational discipline and track productivity. Coordinate with Service Advisers to provide customer updates, deliver technical troubleshooting, and support staff training and operational reporting.
Requirements
~1 min read- 4–6 years of experience in automotive workshop operations, quick service operations, or vehicle maintenance supervision.
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, lubrication systems, periodic servicing procedures, and workflow coordination.
- Proven capability to lead, manage, and monitor the performance of workshop technicians and support staff.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume workshop environment.
- Fluent in English and Sinhala; Tamil language skills are an added advantage.
- Diploma or technical qualification in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and manufacturer maintenance schedules.
- Prior operational exposure to passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and basic EV preventive maintenance safety procedures.
