Mechatronics Technician

We are looking for a Mechatronics Technician to join our team to develop the systems and processes that ensure quality, reliability, and performance across our robotics and autonomous platforms. This role will involve working hands-on with aerial, ground, and integrated hardware systems—building prototypes, fabricating test setups, and supporting manufacturing workflows. You’ll collaborate closely with Electrical, Mechanical, and Firmware Engineers to accelerate prototyping, improve reliability, and lay the foundation for scalable production.

• →Build and test prototypes, sub-assemblies, and feasibility units under engineering guidance.
• →Interpret schematics, diagrams, and layouts to perform testing, checkout, troubleshooting, and rework of PCBAs and harnesses.
• →Fabricate custom test equipment, boxes, and harnesses; procure and source components as needed.
• →Operate and set up standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, supplies, DMMs) and perform PCBA/cable rework to IPC standards.
• →Adapt plans quickly in a fast-paced environment with evolving goals.

• 3+ years’ experience as an engineering technician in a prototype or development lab.
• Strong ability to read/interpret PCBA schematics, cable drawings, and test procedures independently.
• Experience with prototype electro-mechanical hardware (PCBAs, cables, harnesses, robotic/vehicle systems).
• Hands-on skills: soldering, crimping, rework, cable assembly to IPC standards; familiarity with electrical components, connectors, tools, and test equipment.
• Solid grasp of fundamental electrical engineering concepts.
