Podcast Video & Audio Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled Podcast Video & Audio Editor to support a growing content and podcast operation. This role is responsible for transforming raw podcast recordings into polished long-form episodes and engaging short-form content optimized for social media growth and audience engagement. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in modern podcast production workflows. This individual should be capable of working independently, maintaining consistent turnaround times, and proactively improving content quality without constant oversight. This role will play a key part in helping the company scale content production while freeing leadership to focus on content creation and business growth. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Edit full-length podcast episodes for audio and video platforms • Clean and master audio for professional-quality delivery • Sync audio/video files and manage multi-camera podcast footage • Create engaging short-form clips optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and similar platforms • Add captions, transitions, graphics, zooms, sound effects, and visual enhancements where appropriate • Design basic thumbnails and supporting visual assets using Photoshop • Organize and maintain editing files, folders, and media libraries • Export and deliver content in platform-appropriate formats and resolutions • Meet turnaround deadlines consistently while maintaining quality standards • Collaborate with leadership regarding content direction, branding, and editing style • Recommend improvements to workflows, editing systems, and content structure when appropriate ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Previous experience editing podcasts or long-form video content • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro • Strong proficiency in Adobe Audition • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop • Experience creating viral-style short-form content clips • Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, audio balancing, and viewer retention techniques • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong organizational and file management skills • Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup • Strong English communication skills ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Experience working with YouTube creators, podcasters, or digital media brands • Understanding of social media content trends and audience engagement strategies • Motion graphics or advanced visual editing experience • Experience with thumbnail optimization and content packaging • Familiarity with content repurposing workflows • Experience working within structured SOP-driven environments ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ABOUT THE ROLE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ This is an opportunity to become a core part of a growing content operation with long-term expansion potential.
