Soccer Shots Northshore | Full-Time

About Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots is a high-energy, character-focused youth soccer program designed for children ages 2–8. Our goal is simple: to positively impact children through soccer while creating a fun, safe, and memorable experience for every child and family.

Soccer Shots Northshore serves children throughout the Northshore area through programs at parks, schools, and other community locations.

We are looking for an organized, energetic, and people-focused Northshore Program Coordinator to help grow and manage our Northshore programs while delivering an exceptional experience for our families, coaches, and community partners.

The Role

The Northshore Program Coordinator is a hybrid program management and coaching position.

This person will take an active role in the day-to-day operation and growth of Soccer Shots Northshore. You'll work directly with schools, parks, families, and coaches while also spending time on the field coaching Soccer Shots sessions.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a career that combines operations, relationship-building, youth sports, customer service, and hands-on coaching.

The ideal candidate is someone who can stay organized behind the scenes but isn't afraid to get out into the community, build relationships, solve problems, and get on the field with kids.

Key Responsibilities

Program Operations

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of Soccer Shots Northshore programs.
  • Manage program logistics for park and school locations.
  • Assist with season scheduling, program setup, and session coordination.
  • Ensure locations are properly prepared and programs are ready to operate each week.
  • Communicate regularly with school, park, and community partners.
  • Maintain strong relationships with program partners and serve as a reliable point of contact.
  • Respond to parent and customer questions and provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor program quality and identify opportunities to improve the experience for children and families.
  • Maintain accurate program information, schedules, and enrollment data.
  • Assist with enrollment tracking and reporting.
  • Help coordinate special events, free promotional events, and community outreach activities.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director and Director of Coaching to ensure Northshore programs are properly staffed and supported.
Program Growth & Community Outreach

  • Help grow Soccer Shots' presence throughout the Northshore community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing school and park partners.
  • Support outreach efforts to schools, daycares, camps, community organizations, and other potential partners.
  • Represent Soccer Shots at community events, promotional activities, and recruiting events.
  • Identify opportunities to expand programs into new locations.
  • Help execute seasonal marketing and enrollment initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas for increasing enrollment, improving retention, and strengthening the Soccer Shots brand throughout the Northshore.
Coaching Responsibilities

  • Regularly coach Soccer Shots sessions for children ages 2–8.
  • Lead fun, energetic, and age-appropriate soccer activities.
  • Follow the Soccer Shots curriculum and incorporate character-development principles into every session.
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for every child.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, school staff, and fellow coaches.
  • Serve as a role model for other coaches and help maintain Soccer Shots coaching standards.
  • Step in to cover coaching sessions when needed.
  • Participate in ongoing coach training and professional development.
  • Provide feedback and support to other coaches when appropriate.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organized, outgoing, dependable, energetic, and comfortable taking ownership.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children, youth sports, education, recreation, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • A positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfort working independently and making decisions within established guidelines.
  • The ability to confidently lead groups of young children.
  • A willingness to work both behind a computer and outdoors in the community.
  • A genuine interest in helping children learn, grow, and have fun.
Soccer experience is a plus, but extensive soccer experience is not required. We will provide training in our curriculum and coaching methodology. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, energy, leadership ability, and commitment to our mission.

Schedule & Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a schedule that combines administrative/program management work with coaching.

Because Soccer Shots programs primarily take place during weekday afternoons and evenings, the position requires flexibility for morning, afternoon, evening, and occasional weekend responsibilities.

The position involves working at parks, schools, community locations, and from an administrative setting throughout the Northshore area.

Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between program locations are required.

This is an active position. You should expect to spend meaningful time outdoors and on the soccer field rather than sitting behind a desk all day.

Why Join Soccer Shots?

  • Make a meaningful impact on young children and families in the Northshore community.
  • Help build and grow a youth sports program in a rapidly developing territory.
  • Develop leadership, operations, sales, relationship-building, and coaching skills.
  • Work in a fun, active, and positive environment.
  • Have opportunities to take ownership of projects and make a visible impact.
  • Work alongside a team that values teamwork, accountability, and creating exceptional experiences for children and families.
  • Spend your workday connecting with people and working in the community—not just sitting behind a desk.
Compensation & Benefits

Starting salary: $38,000-45,000 annually

Benefits include:

  • Paid time off
  • Generous paid holidays, including Mardi Gras week
  • 401(k) program
  • Gas/travel reimbursement for eligible work-related travel
  • Coaching and professional development opportunities
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Stand, walk, run, and participate in soccer activities for extended periods.
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Demonstrate and participate in basic soccer activities.
  • Lift and carry soccer equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Safely supervise and interact with young children.
Our Ideal Candidate

The right person for this position is someone who takes ownership, builds relationships, stays organized, and brings energy wherever they go.

You might be a great fit if you're the person who naturally notices what needs to be done and takes care of it. You enjoy meeting new people, solving problems, and building relationships. You can spend part of your day answering emails and coordinating schedules, then head to a park and enthusiastically coach a group of 3-year-olds.

You don't need to be a professional soccer player. You do need to bring energy, reliability, organization, leadership, and a willingness to get on the field and make soccer fun for kids.

If you're ready to help grow Soccer Shots Northshore while making a positive impact on children and families, we'd love to hear from you.
