Sr. Frontend Engineer (FAM)

Develop, test, deploy, and maintain frontend web applications, pages, and components for the FunaloMAX platform. Support frontend enhancements, UI updates, feature improvements, issue fixes, system maintenance, and business-requested changes. Translate business requirements, product specifications, and UI/UX designs into functional and maintainable frontend implementation. Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs, handle frontend data flows, manage error states, and ensure smooth end-to-end functionality. Improve frontend usability, responsiveness, browser compatibility, loading performance, maintainability, and reliability. Troubleshoot frontend production issues, analyze root causes, implement fixes, and support timely incident resolution. Review and improve existing frontend code, UI behavior, page structure, reusable components, and integration flows. Collaborate with product owners, business users, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, backend engineers, DevOps, security, compliance teams, and external vendors when required. Participate in code reviews and ensure frontend implementation follows engineering standards, UI consistency, security requirements, and platform best practices. Prepare and maintain frontend technical documentation, UI behavior notes, integration notes, troubleshooting guides, and support handover materials. Support release activities, deployment validation, production verification, and post-release monitoring. Other qualifications Professional experience in frontend software development. Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development practices. Strong hands-on experience with React (our primary framework); familiarity with Vue, Angular, or similar component-based frameworks is a plus. Good understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, frontend performance optimization, and web accessibility principles. Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs, backend services, authentication flows, and third-party services. Familiarity with frontend state management, form handling, validation, routing, error handling, and reusable component development. Experience with browser debugging tools, frontend troubleshooting, production issue analysis, and UI defect resolution. Familiarity with version control, CI/CD processes, build tools, package management, and software development lifecycle practices. Ability to work with existing systems, understand inherited frontend code, and improve maintainability without unnecessary disruption. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements Experience supporting online gaming, casino systems, gaming platforms, fintech, payment systems, e-commerce, or other high-transaction digital platforms. Experience maintaining existing frontend platforms, legacy UI flows, or business-critical web applications. Experience with design systems, shared component libraries, UI consistency, and frontend architecture. Experience with frontend testing tools, automated testing, browser compatibility testing, monitoring, and production support. Understanding of secure frontend development practices, session handling, data privacy, access control, and compliance-driven environments. Experience working with third-party vendors, external platforms, or integrated digital products. Experience owning frontend architecture decisions (e.g. state management strategy, API/data layer patterns, component library structure) rather than only implementing individual tickets.
