About Us

Solar Landscape is the leading commercial rooftop solar developer in the U.S. Only 4% of commercial rooftops host solar today — we’re changing that, fast. Commercial rooftop solar is the fastest, smartest way to build new clean power — delivering megawatts of generation in months, not years, and powering America’s energy and future right where it’s needed most. By turning rooftops into local power plants, we’re reshaping how — and how fast — energy gets built in the U.S.

Recognized as the #1 Distributed Generation Developer by New Project Media, the #1 National Commercial Rooftop Solar Developer by Solar Power World, and winner of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Grand Prize for Clean Energy, Solar Landscape is defining the future of energy generation in America.

Headquartered in Asbury Park, New Jersey, Solar Landscape has offices in Chicago, Baltimore, and New York City and operates in over a dozen states nationwide.

We move fast, solve hard problems, and take our work seriously — but never ourselves. We value clear thinking, accountability, and execution. At the same time, we’re collaborative by default, and believe the best work happens when people enjoy working together. Our team is made up of smart, grounded people who show up for each other — whether that’s troubleshooting a system design or catching up over lunch.

If you’re looking to do meaningful work in a high-performance environment — and be part of the team reshaping how energy gets built in the U.S. — we’d love to meet you.

About The Role

Solar Landscape is seeking a Portfolio Operations Manager (Systems & PMO) to support the continued scaling of our project execution capabilities. This role sits within the Project Management Office (PMO) and focuses on strengthening how data, systems and processes support execution across a growing project portfolio.

The role is centered on improving the usability, adoption, and data integrity of our core systems (Microsoft Dynamics), while establishing structured approaches to documentation governance and compliance. In addition, this individual will support targeted reporting and analytics to provide visibility into system performance and operational execution.

This position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, PMO, and Tech teams to ensure that systems and processes are aligned with how work is executed and are designed to scale effectively with the organization’s growth.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand current system usage and identify gaps impacting usability, adoption, and data quality
  • Evaluate and enhance ERP / CRM workflows, configurations, and data structures to better support operational needs
  • Translate business requirements into clearly defined system and process improvements, working in collaboration with software systems and data operations teams
  • Establish and reinforce standards for data capture, usage, and governance across the project lifecycle
  • Drive initiatives that improve system adoption and reduce reliance on reactive updates
  •

  • Partner with PMO leadership to reinforce documentation standards across active and completed projects
  • Develop and implement structured frameworks for documentation management, version control, and lifecycle compliance
  • Standardize templates, workflows, and documentation expectations across teams
  • Identify gaps in documentation practices and lead efforts to improve consistency
  • Establish and maintain centralized, user-friendly environments for document storage, access, and governance
  •
  • Define and track key performance indicators related to system adoption, data integrity, documentation compliance, and overall operational performance
  • Partner with the data operations and software systems teams to generate insights across system usage, data quality, and process effectiveness
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that provide visibility into portfolio execution, system performance, and adherence to PMO standards
  • Analyze trends across systems, documentation practices, and workflows to identify gaps and inform continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support leadership reporting by synthesizing insights into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations across systems, processes, and execution performance
  •
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, or PMO environments
  • Demonstrated experience improving system usage, operational workflows, or process standardization
  • Experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders across Operations, PMO, and/or technical teams
  • Strong problem-solving and structured thinking capabilities
  • Ability to translate business needs into system and process improvements
  • Experience working with ERP or project management systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Procore, Kahua)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with data teams to define requirements and interpret outputs (no advanced SQL required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting
  • Experience in renewable energy, construction, or infrastructure development
  • Exposure to PMO buildout or operational maturity initiatives
  • Experience improving documentation governance and compliance processes
  • Familiarity with project lifecycle management in multi-project or portfolio environments
