We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to perform full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of 5+ multi-family residential buildings and support our broader 36-asset portfolio (averaging 200 units per property).

With a team member transitioning out, we are hiring two dedicated professionals to ensure continued excellence in financial reporting, accuracy, and operational support.

  Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage full-cycle property accounting for assigned multi-family properties (5+ residential buildings).

  Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement packages.

  Cash Management: Perform bank reconciliations and actively monitor cash flow.

  General Ledger & Month-End: Maintain general ledgers, process journal entries, and manage month-end close procedures.

  AP/AR & Reconciliation: Handle data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and prepaids.

  Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Collaborate closely with Property Managers to reconcile budgets and prepare variance analyses.

  Audits & Compliance: Support audit preparation and year-end financial closing processes.

  System Management: Ensure accurate financial data management in Yardi (non-negotiable).

• Experience: 2+ years of property accounting experience (preferably in multi-family real estate).

• Yardi Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Yardi is strictly required.

• Accounting Expertise: Strong command of full-cycle accounting principles and general ledger management.

• Multi-Property Handling: Proven ability to manage accounting for multiple properties concurrently.

• Core Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience managing residential portfolios with 200+ unit buildings.

• Familiarity with real estate brokerage accounting or transaction management.
