Schedule: Monday - Friday |  9am-6pm EST (can still change, will still finalize)

Salary Range: 1,000 - 1,500 USD per month

About the Job:

The Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for affordable multi-family asset management and ongoing oversight of the communities. The position will communicate directly with leadership and is focused on providing best-in-class asset management for the firm’s investments. This role provides critical functions in management, asset management, and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct asset management for a portfolio of ~15 affordable multi-family assets – working with management to create and manage budgets/forecasting, driving strategy for future growth and creating a structure for operating accountability.
• Regular preparation of data and analyses to direct property level teams to reach objectives.
• Work closely with the senior management to execute the portfolio and property-level business plan.
• Prepare presentations and reporting for internal and external partners, investors and lenders and participate in partner communications.
• Assist in coordinating and communicating with lenders, appraisers, and consultants on financing matters.
• Maintain shared resource of asset management due diligence, legal and operating documents, and coordinate with necessary internal groups.
• Onboard new investments into the asset management process.

  Minimum Requirements:

The company is seeking an initiative-taking individual who enjoys working in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate asset management and strategy. This role also requires the following capabilities:

• Effective communication skills with ability to manage asset management processes.
• Exceptional financial acumen and comfortable understanding of financial statements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with high expertise in Excel.
• Initiative-taking, flexible, and meticulous.
• Able to represent the company well across its portfolio.

Preferred: 

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Multi-Family Operations, Affordable Housing, Finance, and Capital Planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• Advanced degree.
