Role: Construction Estimator
Priority Location: Latin America
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri) aligned with US working hours
Salary Range: $2,000 - $2,500 USD per month (The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.)
Type of contract: Independent Contractor
Type of job: Remote
About the Role:
The Construction Estimator will work directly with the owner and take responsibility for reviewing incoming construction opportunities, identifying swimming pool scopes within project documentation, completing takeoffs, and preparing estimates and proposals.
Bid opportunities and project documents are received through BuildingConnected. The Estimator will need to review the associated landscape plans, drawings, and documentation to locate the swimming pool portion of the project.
From there, the Estimator will use Pool Studio to trace and scale the pool design, determine dimensions and quantities, and use that information to develop the appropriate estimate and proposal.
The primary objective of this hire is to remove estimating from the owner's plate while simultaneously increasing the number of opportunities the company can bid on.
The owner has historically handled this entire function himself, so the successful candidate will be stepping into an important position with considerable opportunity to take ownership of the estimating process.
