Role: Content Strategist
Priority Location: South Africa, Philippines or Latin America
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri), flexible with overlap to U.S. Eastern Time (EST) for meetings and collaboration
Salary Range: $2,000 - $3,000 USD ($) per month (The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.)

About the Role:
The Content Strategist will lead the development and execution of an integrated thought leadership and content marketing strategy designed to position the firm as a leading voice within higher education consulting.
This is not a content coordinator role. The successful candidate will proactively identify opportunities, develop strategic initiatives, and create a cohesive content roadmap across multiple channels. The ideal person is someone who brings ideas to the table, anticipates opportunities, and requires minimal handholding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the company's content strategy across digital channels
- Create integrated campaigns that align thought leadership, PR, social media, and sales initiatives
- Identify trending topics, industry developments, and market opportunities within higher education
- Build and maintain a content calendar aligned to company objectives
- Collaborate with leadership to extract insights and transform them into valuable content
- Coordinate content production across writers, editors, and external contributors
- Develop strategies for webinars, whitepapers, articles, case studies, and executive thought leadership
- Measure content performance and recommend optimization strategies
- Ensure all content supports business development and brand positioning objectives
Required Qualification & Skills:
- 5+ years of content strategy or content marketing experience
- Proven experience developing thought leadership programs
- Strong understanding of B2B professional services marketing
- Experience working with executive-level stakeholders
- Ability to independently develop and execute strategic initiatives
- Exceptional communication and project management skills
- Experience within higher education, consulting, education technology, or professional services is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of SEO, content distribution, and audience engagement strategies
