Growth Hacker / Media Buyer About the Company Our client operates two technology products serving distinct but complementary audiences.

Technical Tools
MarketingMedia Buyer

Our client operates two technology products serving distinct but complementary audiences.

The first is a sales performance platform designed to help high-ticket sales representatives within businesses generating approximately $500K–$50M in annual revenue close more deals by identifying and replicating the systems, behaviors, and strategies of top performers.

The second is a career technology platform designed to help job seekers navigate the hiring process more effectively through resume-building tools, interview preparation, and automated job applications.

Both products are focused on using technology to improve measurable outcomes for their users and are looking for a growth professional who can understand each audience, build the appropriate customer journey, and drive acquisition from initial impression through conversion.

We are seeking a Growth Hacker / Media Buyer to own and optimize the full marketing funnel across both products.

This is a hands-on growth role combining media buying, funnel management, scripting, experimentation, and customer journey optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding how U.S. customers discover each product, what messaging captures their attention, what moves them through the funnel, and ultimately what drives them to convert.

This role requires more than someone who can simply launch and optimize paid advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate understands the entire U.S. customer journey end to end and can connect advertising, creative, messaging, landing pages, funnels, and conversion data into one cohesive growth system.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Manage paid media campaigns across relevant acquisition channels.

  • Own campaign setup, targeting, budget allocation, testing, optimization, and scaling.

  • Monitor campaign performance and continuously adjust based on conversion data and business outcomes.

  • Test different audiences, offers, messaging, creative concepts, and campaign structures.

  • Identify opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency and scale successful campaigns.

  • Analyze performance beyond surface-level metrics such as clicks and impressions.

  • Connect advertising performance directly to downstream funnel behavior and customer conversion.

  • Manage campaigns across two products with different audiences and customer journeys.

  • Own and continuously improve the marketing funnel from initial customer awareness through conversion.

  • Map the complete customer journey for each product.

  • Understand how U.S. consumers move from an advertisement or piece of content into a landing page, signup flow, product experience, and eventual conversion.

  • Identify funnel drop-off points and develop strategies to improve conversion.

  • Evaluate landing pages, calls to action, forms, offers, onboarding flows, and other conversion points.

  • Ensure messaging remains consistent throughout the customer journey.

  • Develop and test new funnel structures based on customer behavior and performance data.

  • Think beyond individual channels and optimize the complete acquisition system.

  • Develop scripts and messaging for paid advertisements and other growth content.

  • Write compelling hooks, angles, calls to action, and advertising concepts.

  • Translate customer pain points into clear and persuasive marketing messages.

  • Create different messaging strategies for the high-ticket sales audience and the job-seeker audience.

  • Collaborate with content creators and other creative resources to turn scripts and concepts into finished assets.

  • Analyze creative performance and use results to develop new iterations.

  • Continuously test new hooks, offers, formats, and positioning.

  • Develop and execute rapid growth experiments across acquisition and conversion.

  • Form hypotheses based on funnel data and customer behavior.

  • Test new channels, audiences, creative concepts, landing pages, offers, and conversion strategies.

  • Quickly identify successful experiments and scale them.

  • Stop or modify underperforming initiatives without unnecessary delay.

  • Maintain a structured testing process so learnings can be applied across future campaigns.

  • Look for unconventional opportunities to acquire customers beyond traditional paid advertising.

  • Develop a deep understanding of how U.S. customers discover, evaluate, trust, and purchase digital products.

  • Understand differences between the customer journeys of high-ticket sales professionals and individual job seekers.

  • Identify the motivations, objections, pain points, and conversion triggers of each audience.

  • Ensure advertising and funnel messaging feels natural and relevant to U.S. consumers.

  • Analyze customer behavior throughout the entire funnel rather than focusing exclusively on top-of-funnel acquisition.

  • Use customer insights to improve targeting, creative, offers, landing pages, and conversion flows.

  • Continuously identify friction preventing prospects from moving to the next stage.

  • Track performance across the complete marketing funnel.

  • Monitor acquisition costs, conversion rates, funnel progression, and other relevant growth metrics.

  • Identify which channels, campaigns, audiences, and creatives generate the strongest business outcomes.

  • Use data to determine where marketing resources should be increased, reduced, or redirected.

  • Diagnose performance issues and determine whether the underlying problem is traffic, creative, messaging, funnel structure, or conversion.

  • Translate performance data into clear actions and priorities.

  • Maintain visibility into growth performance across both products.

Requirements

~1 min read
  • Core scope includes media buying, funnel management, scripting, and growth experimentation

  • Requires an end-to-end understanding of the U.S. customer journey

  • Ownership of growth across two distinct technology products.

  • The opportunity to manage more than just paid media by influencing the entire acquisition and conversion journey.

  • Significant room for experimentation across messaging, creative, channels, funnels, and offers.

  • Exposure to both B2B-oriented sales technology and consumer-facing career technology audiences.

  • The ability to directly connect marketing decisions to measurable customer and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is a full-funnel growth operator, not simply an ad buyer.

They can launch and optimize campaigns, but they also understand what happens after someone clicks. They think about the advertisement, hook, landing page, offer, conversion flow, customer objections, and ultimate purchase as interconnected parts of the same system.

They understand U.S. customers well enough to recognize what messaging will resonate, what creates trust, what causes friction, and what ultimately motivates someone to take action.

Most importantly, they are highly experimental and performance-driven. When a funnel is underperforming, they do not simply increase the budget or change targeting. They diagnose the entire customer journey, identify the constraint, test a solution, measure the result, and continue iterating.

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Customer acquisition growth across both products.

  • Paid media efficiency and scalability.

  • Full-funnel conversion performance.

  • Cost per acquisition and other relevant acquisition metrics.

  • Quality and performance of advertising creative and scripts.

  • Landing page and funnel conversion improvements.

  • Ability to identify and resolve customer journey friction.

  • Speed and quality of growth experimentation.

  • Ability to scale successful campaigns and acquisition channels.

  • Quality of insights generated from customer and campaign data.

  • Overall contribution to sustainable growth across both businesses.
