About the Role:
This is a hands-on marketing role that connects our leadership, our agency, and our locations. You'll act as the owner's right hand on marketing. You'll learn our brand standards and his point of view well enough to brief the agency, approve work, and keep projects moving without him involved in every detail.
It's a broad role. On a given day you might design a brochure, edit a short video, check the agency's latest ad creative, and plan the schedule for an upcoming Giants activation. You should be someone who enjoys that variety, works independently, and cares about quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Agency management and coordination
- Be the main contact for our full-service marketing agency. Write briefs, give feedback on proofs, and handle approvals from ownership.
- Set and enforce timelines so campaigns and deliverables go out on schedule.
- Review agencies work for quality and brand consistency before it goes live and presents to the owner.
- Oversee day-to-day marketing decisions and coordination that currently go through the owner.
Creative production
- Design marketing materials yourself, such as brochures, flyers, and signage for our locations.
- Create and edit video content for social media, promotions, and activations.
- Deliver production-ready files to the agency for final QA and distribution, so they can focus on bigger work.
Activations and events
- Own onsite activations from start to finish, including our New York Giants partnership events.
- Handle planning, scheduling, vendor and staff coordination, and on-the-day execution.
- Make sure every activation reflects our brand and gets the most out of the partnership.
Marketing oversight
- Understand our paid media, social, Google My Business, and review management well enough to spot problems and push for improvements.
- Help decide over time which marketing work could move in-house as the team grows.
