About the Company: Our client is a fast-growing, founder-led U.S. consumer hardware brand behind an innovative smart pest-control product, selling direct-to-consumer with paid social and search as primary growth engines. Backed by upcoming national television exposure on Shark Tank, a dedicated Amazon launch, and an expanding product roadmap, the company is positioned for exponential growth. Driven by a lean, high-caliber team and a rich creative library, our client offers an environment with exceptional growth potential, high operational autonomy, and performance-based reward structures.
About the Role: As the Senior Performance Media Buyer, you will serve as both the strategist and hands-on campaign manager accountable for scaling paid acquisition across Meta (primary) and Google (secondary). Reporting directly to the founder and fractional CMO, you will diagnose and break through current spend ceilings, architecting data-backed account structures and rigorous creative testing frameworks to turn television-driven demand and paid traffic into scalable, efficient revenue. This position empowers a battle-tested media buyer to lead a two-person performance pod, optimize multi-channel funnels, and own the bottom-line acquisition strategy for a rapidly scaling brand.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Own, architect, and optimize performance marketing strategies across Meta Ads and Google Ads to profitably scale monthly ad spend and break through performance ceilings.
-
Execute hands-on campaign setup, daily bidding optimizations, budget allocations, and account structure adjustments across Meta Ads Manager and Google Search/Shopping.
-
Design and implement a structured testing framework across audiences, visual hooks, offers, and landing pages to combat creative fatigue and improve CAC/ROAS.
-
Collaborate with creative teams to guide data-driven briefs, analyzing an existing library of 100+ ad assets to identify and scale winning educational video concepts.
-
Lead a two-person performance pod by directing the execution of the junior media buyer while taking strategic ownership of overall channel ROI and cross-channel attribution.
-
Deeply analyze platform, conversion, and funnel analytics to report performance metrics to leadership and optimize cross-channel touchpoints during major PR/TV events and Amazon launches.
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of hands-on performance media buying experience with a proven track record of scaling DTC or e-commerce budgets profitably on Meta and Google (Required).
-
Demonstrated expertise diagnosing and breaking through ad spend ceilings and performance plateaus in Meta Ads Manager (Required).
-
Deep technical proficiency in Google Search and Shopping campaigns, pixel setup, conversion APIs, and multi-channel attribution (Required).
-
Strong creative strategy skills with hands-on experience using performance data to script, brief, and iterate short-form video ads (Required).
-
Native-level or fluent written and spoken English with full alignment to full-time U.S. Eastern Time business hours (Required).
-
Experience directing or mentoring junior media buyers or performance team members (Preferred).
-
Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate data analysis, ad copy ideation, and rapid testing workflows (Preferred).
-
Prior background managing paid media for single-SKU hardware, physical consumer goods, or TV/PR-driven demand spikes (Preferred).
