Role Overview
We are seeking a senior, self-motivated Senior Social Media Manager to take complete end-to-end ownership of client social accounts, content strategies, client communications, and social scheduling.
In this role, you will act as an indispensable operational lead, managing the day-to-day social media footprint for approximately 15 agency client accounts. You will develop monthly content calendars, write engaging copy, schedule posts across major social platforms, engage with brand communities, and communicate directly with client stakeholders. Additionally, you will utilize basic graphic design, motion/animation (e.g., animating layered PSD files), and video editing capabilities to produce polished, high-performing visual assets.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned social media manager with 5–8+ years (or up to 10+ years) of agency experience, possessing flawless written English, high autonomy, and a track record of managing multi-account portfolios effortlessly.

Key Responsibilities
Multi-Account Social Media Strategy & Content Operations
- Take complete ownership of content planning, strategy, and daily execution across ~15 assigned agency client accounts.
- Develop monthly content calendars, creative campaigns, and platform-specific content strategies (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, X).
- Draft compelling, brand-aligned ad copy, organic post captions, and promotional content tailored to varying target audiences.
- Schedule and publish approved content across social platforms using agency scheduling tools, ensuring 100% posting accuracy.
- Conduct active community management—monitoring incoming comments, DMs, and customer inquiries to foster engagement.
- Serve as the direct strategic point of contact for assigned client accounts, leading onboarding calls, status updates, and monthly strategy reviews.
- Translate client goals and feedback into refined creative direction and high-converting social campaigns.
- Monitor account health, de-escalate concerns proactively, and maintain high client satisfaction and retainer retention.
- Prepare, format, and present monthly analytics reports, performance insights, and content optimization recommendations.
- Design and format eye-catching social graphics, carousels, and visual promotional assets.
- Utilize basic motion design skills to animate static assets (e.g., animating Photoshop/PSD files into dynamic video posts).
- Execute basic video editing for short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), including trimming, captions, transitions, and audio syncing.
- Partner with internal agency leads to align social media output with overarching CRM and lead-generation strategies.
- 5–8+ years (or 10+ years) of professional experience managing multi-account social media portfolios, preferably within a digital marketing agency environment.
- Proven ability to manage ~15 active social media client accounts simultaneously with high autonomy and organization.
- Flawless written and spoken English communication skills with exceptional copywriting and editing abilities.
- Proficiency with industry-standard social media management and scheduling platforms (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social).
- Hands-on graphic design skills with experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop) or Canva.
- Basic motion graphics and video editing capabilities (ability to animate layered PSDs and edit short-form video assets).
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to step in immediately, learn brand guidelines quickly, and work without micromanagement.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection, secure personal computer, and a dedicated, quiet remote workspace.
- Ability to connect via a designated Canadian VPN location for operational consistency.
- Availability to work full-time hours, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST.
- 10+ years of senior social media experience with advanced campaign strategy and brand positioning capabilities.
- Advanced motion design skills (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) for high-end video social content.
- Practical experience coordinating social media strategies alongside email marketing, CRM lead generation, and paid media funnels.
