About the Role

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in Python
  • Develop business-critical application logic and ensure systems are reliable and maintainable
  • Write clean, well-documented, production-grade code
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Support deployment workflows and system reliability
  • Contribute to code reviews and engineering standards
  • Engage directly with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
  • Communicate clearly in English with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python for backend development
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proven track record delivering production-grade applications
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Strong written and verbal English communication
  • Experience working directly with stakeholders or clients
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (strongly preferred)
  • Pharmaceutical / life-sciences domain experience, including validated GxP systems and computer system validation (CSV)
  • Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with system integrations and data workflows
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Flask or Dash, or frontend technologies
  • Additional cloud experience within Azure
