About the Role

Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in Python
Develop business-critical application logic and ensure systems are reliable and maintainable
Write clean, well-documented, production-grade code

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Support deployment workflows and system reliability
Contribute to code reviews and engineering standards

Engage directly with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
Communicate clearly in English with both technical and non-technical audiences
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement

Requirements

5–9 years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in Python for backend development
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Proven track record delivering production-grade applications
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
Strong written and verbal English communication
Experience working directly with stakeholders or clients
Experience working in a regulated environment (strongly preferred)

Pharmaceutical / life-sciences domain experience, including validated GxP systems and computer system validation (CSV)
Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with system integrations and data workflows
Familiarity with frameworks such as Flask or Dash, or frontend technologies
Additional cloud experience within Azure
