About the Role

We are hiring a full-time Video Editor with a strong performance marketing background to produce high-converting Meta ads.

This is not a generic editing role.

You will work directly with our Creative Strategist, transforming raw footage into scroll-stopping ad creatives engineered for:

  • Attention

  • Retention

  • Conversion

  • Scale

Success in this role requires someone who deeply understands:

  • Hook psychology
  • Direct response structure
  • Iteration velocity
  • Performance feedback loops

Responsibilities

  • Edit Meta ads from provided raw footage

  • Source and integrate stock footage when required

  • Create multiple hook and creative variations per concept

  • Structure ads for strong first 3-second engagement

  • Apply pattern interrupts and retention techniques

  • Integrate subtitles, overlays, motion graphics, and pacing

  • Optimize edits based on feedback and performance data

  • Proactively suggest iterations and improvements


Responsibilities

  • Generate multiple variations per concept (5–10+)

  • Design edits for:

    • Scroll-stopping openings

    • Clear value communication

    • Emotional engagement

    • Strong calls-to-action

  • Edit specifically for:

    • Retention

    • Engagement

    • Conversion performance

  • Stay current on Meta creative trends and formats

  • Leverage AI tools to improve speed and output


Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of professional video editing experience

  • Proven experience editing Meta ads for ecommerce brands

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing & direct response

  • Experience producing multiple variations per concept

  • Deep knowledge of:

    • Hooks

    • Retention-focused editing

    • Conversion-driven pacing


  • Proficiency with modern editing tools:

    • Premiere Pro

    • CapCut

    • After Effects

    • DaVinci Resolve

    • or equivalent

  • Strong motion graphics & subtitle integration

  • Excellent pacing, rhythm, and storytelling instincts

  • Comfortable adopting new tools quickly

  • Actively using or willing to integrate AI-assisted workflows


  • Executes briefs with precision

  • Comfortable collaborating with a Creative Strategist

  • Highly organized and reliable

  • Fast, responsive, and deadline-driven

  • Self-directed in a remote environment

  • Growth-minded and coachable
