Senior Web Engineer - Fan Monetization

• →Design, build, and maintain user-facing web features on SoundCloud's desktop and mobile web surfaces that drive fan engagement and creator support
• →Embrace and utilize advanced AI tools to safely, securely, and responsibly accelerate your coding workflows, code reviews, and testing frameworks
• →Partner closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and distributed engineering teams across our international offices (including London and Berlin)
• →Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and roadmap planning to ensure the performance, scalability, and maintainability of our web stack
• →Optimize web application performance, debug complex cross-browser issues, and advocate for best practices in accessibility, testing, and frontend metrics

Experience and Background:

• →4–6+ years of professional experience building modern, large-scale web applications with deep knowledge of TypeScript, React, and modern web tooling (e.g., Next.js, Vite)
• →A solid grasp of web performance optimization, responsive design principles, and web accessibility standards
• →Excited about leveraging advanced AI development assistants to optimize your productivity, code quality, and technical exploration
• →You care deeply about the user experience and the "why" behind the code, not just the "how"
• →Thrives in an agile, distributed environment, with strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring peers
• →While your primary focus is web, an openness or curiosity toward occasionally learning or collaborating across other tech stacks—such as iOS, Android, or Backend (Go)—is a welcome plus

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $195,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, and location. We also offer a generous total rewards program - read more about additional benefits and perks below!
