Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Serve as a platform engineering contributor within an integration team at the customer site
- →Support the integration and deployment of applications into containerized PaaS environments
- →Design and implement deployment strategies across development, test, and operational systems
- →Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting secure and repeatable application delivery
- →Integrate development tools for:
- →Artifact management
- →Automated testing
- →Code quality and security analysis
- →Troubleshoot deployed applications and platform services; perform root-cause analysis
- →Work closely with other engineers and integration team members to resolve technical issues
- →Interface with customer stakeholders to support platform operations and application onboarding
- →Contribute to platform documentation, standards, and best practices
- →Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions
- →Support continuous improvement, automation, and platform reliability efforts
- →Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
- →Secret clearance
- →Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- →8+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or a related role
- →3+ years of experience administering Linux systems
- →2+ years of experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- →2+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- →Experience with artifact management and version control systems
- →Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed systems
- →Ability to work 100% on-site at a customer location
- →Strong verbal and written communication skills
- →Detail-oriented and able to work independently while collaborating with a team
Desired Skills & Experience
- →Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar CI/CD platforms
- →Experience creating and maintaining Helm charts
- →Experience with artifact repositories such as Artifactory
- →Experience integrating systems in government or secure environments
- →Familiarity with platform security and compliance considerations
- →Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
- →Previous experience in customer-facing technical roles
