Spire Thames Valley Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Outpatients team on the bank. This is a fantastic opportunity to use and develop your clinical skills, including ECG's, wound care and minor operations dressings, whilst supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey. About the Role
~1 min readAs a Bank Registered Nurse - Outpatients, you will play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality care across a varied outpatient caseload.
You'll work closely with Consultants and multidisciplinary colleagues, carrying out patient assessments, supporting clinics and procedures, performing ECGs and undertaking wound care, including minor operations dressings. You'll help ensure every patient receives a professional, efficient and positive experience whilst maintaining the high clinical standards expected within our hospital.
This role offers variety, autonomy and regular patient interaction, making it ideal for a nurse who enjoys a fast-paced outpatient environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities
- NMC Registered Nurse with no restrictions or conditions on practice
- Essential - Experience undertaking wound care and minor operations dressings
- Previous Outpatients experience is desirable
- Competent in performing ECGs
- Confident supporting and leading outpatient clinics
- Able to recognise and respond appropriately to clinical concerns
- Strong communication and organisational skills with a patient-focused approach
