Bank Specialist Radiographer

Spire Southampton Hospital is looking for an experienced and motivated Bank Diagnostic Radiographer to join our Radiology team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Diagnostic Radiographer looking for a varied role within a busy private hospital environment. You'll support a broad range of diagnostic imaging services, helping to deliver a high-quality, efficient service that puts patient care at the heart of everything we do.

A significant part of this role involves supporting our Theatre teams, so we're looking for someone who is confident and competent working within a theatre environment and supporting a variety of surgical procedures. Alongside Theatre work, you'll support General X-ray services and other imaging modalities depending on your skills and experience.

• →Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services in line with clinical protocols, safety standards and best practice
• →Provide imaging support within Theatre, working safely and effectively alongside consultants and multidisciplinary teams during procedures
• →Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images to support clinical decision-making
• →Deliver a professional, compassionate and reassuring experience for every patient
• →Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• →Ensure compliance with IR(ME)R regulations, radiation protection standards and governance requirements
• →Participate in the departmental on-call rota as required
• →Work collaboratively with consultants, clinicians, theatre teams and the wider multidisciplinary team
• →Support service efficiency and a smooth patient journey from referral through to diagnosis
• →Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing learning and development
