Senior Program Manager, Clinical Product

The Medical Affairs mission is to continually improve and expand our care delivery programs, practices and outcomes as we build precision mental health care for our customers. We are seeking a qualified Senior Program Manager, Clinical Product, to join our Medical Affairs team.  The role will be responsible for serving as a clinical lead with a larger product team to build member and provider experiences that drive world-class reliable clinical outcomes while ensuring the appropriate clinical safety of our product. This role will be a full-time employee and report to the Senior Manager of Clinical Product.  

• →Drive Spring Health’s clinical product development across the organization with a broad view of clinical efficacy and safety across the entire care journey
• →Collaborate effectively and efficiently with the Quality, Provider Operations, Speciality Care, Clinical Services, Data Science and Product teams in building improved clinical product capabilities with member and provider experiences. 
• →Project manage cross-functional tasks and deadlines required to successfully meet internal and client timelines; proactively escalate risks to leadership
• →Monitor and evolve our clinical KPIs and programs with the intention of building end-to-end programs or standing-up initiatives to improve safety and clinical outcomes that drive the best member experience in the most impactful and scalable ways
• →Serve as the clinical representative in AI product development, helping teams design and evaluate models and features that are safe, clinically appropriate, and patient-centered.
• →Review and assess AI use cases, prototypes, and outputs for clinical accuracy, relevance, and potential risk.
• →Provide feedback on human-in-the-loop systems, escalation protocols, and mitigation strategies for ensuring safe AI products.
• →Facilitate the integration of new clinical programs into our core products for members and providers
• →Work closely with data science to build reporting capability to track and action key product actions to assess product effectiveness and clinical outcomes
• →Collaborate with clinical teams across the organization to ensure product builds are aligned with best practices and legal requirements
• →Support Product in the design and implementation of new technology features needed for key initiatives

• Ensure clinical product response support meets assigned product team request timelines 90% of the time
• Build clinical safety tooling to ensure AI bad outcomes are <1%
• Build clinical tooling to hit utilization targets set by product team

• Be a licensed mental health provider with 5+ years of independently licensed with a masters or PhD level license in a mental health field (LPC/LMHC, LSW, PhD/PsyD)
• You have 5+ years of cross-functional experience in a high-growth startup and/or healthcare systems
• Experience in engaging product teams in building clinical care product
• Proven experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
• Data-driven with demonstrated skills in interpreting clinical data to drive decision-making
• You are a self-starter who thrives when given autonomy, with proven ability and a desire to build effective internal and external relationships
• Strong understanding of AI systems, associated risks in healthcare, and best practices for AI safety, fairness, and transparency.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging clinicians, engineers, product managers, and executives.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and operate effectively in ambiguity

• Experience in the digital mental health ecosystem space is preferred
• Experience building new technology capabilities in mental health care 

The target base salary range for this position is $159,100 - $170,000 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
