Our team focuses on supporting products built on modern System-on-Chip (SoC) devices and on extending the SDK for next-generation product lines. We work across embedded systems, firmware, and video streaming components to ensure product reliability, performance, and quality. Through testing that mirrors real-world usage, we validate key workflows, identify potential risks, and provide actionable insights. Working closely with SDET, Engineering, Product, and other QA teams, we help improve SDK stability, system integration, and the overall user experience.
We are looking for a General QA Engineer with solid experience in software testing, combining strong manual testing skills with test automation expertise, preferably with exposure to embedded systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing manual test strategies, expanding and maintaining automated test coverage, and improving existing testing workflows. You will also be expected to integrate AI assistants and tools into your daily workflow to accelerate test development, analysis, and overall quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Define requirements for test environments, data, resources, and tools
- →Ensure automated test coverage (execution, analysis, reporting)
- →Contribute to the development and expansion of the existing Python test framework
- →Provide accurate high-level and detailed estimations for assigned activities and features
- →Be proactively involved in the SDLC and ongoing release processes.
Requirements
~1 min read- 4+ years of experience in manual testing
- Experience in testing of embedded systems
- Knowledge of testing methodologies
- Experience in UNIX/Linux
- Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins
- Practical Python automation skills: ability to maintain scripts, update existing tests, and debug automation issues
- Experience of AI-assisted QA workflows, including test case generation, documentation, and log analysis
- Understanding of network principles
- Understanding of embedded systems principles
- Experience with bug tracking systems
- Experience in writing test documentation
- Good written and spoken English.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience in debugging hardware and firmware
- Experience with LTE and 802.11 protocols
- Experience with low-powered systems
- Experience with audio/video data streaming
- Familiarity with SQL databases and Elasticsearch
- The ability to root-cause failures across software, firmware, and hardware.
- Basic experience with Raspberry Pi.
