Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead a backend engineering team focused on user and audience data
- →Drive complex, cross-team initiatives across multiple domains
- →Design and own scalable, low-latency backend systems and data pipelines
- →Mentor engineers and support team growth, performance, and productivity
- →Promote engineering best practices through strong technical leadership and code reviews
- →Identify and solve complex technical challenges
- →Establish and evolve development processes using modern methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- →Own the technical roadmap and software delivery for your team
- →Interview and hire high-performing engineering talent
- →Balance priorities to ensure alignment with company goals
- →Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders (Product, Project Management)
- →Support systems operating under global compliance frameworks
- 2+ years of people management or mentorship experience
- 5+ years of backend development experience in distributed systems, microservices, and data pipelines
- Experience in a high-growth technology environment (preferred)
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Golang preferred; Java, Kotlin, C++, or similar)
- Proven ability to deliver results while leading and scaling teams
- Experience as a hands-on leader managing 3–10 direct reports
- Working knowledge of modern development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Nice to Have

- Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA
