As an Enterprise Kubernetes Architect, you will: Define, govern, and promote enterprise-wide Kubernetes architecture standards and best practices. Act as a technical ambassador for the central platform team's architectural guidelines across multiple business and technology domains. Collaborate with system architects, domain architects, platform engineers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with enterprise container platform strategies. Drive the adoption and optimization of Kubernetes platforms across on-premises and Azure cloud environments. Review, challenge, and influence architectural decisions to ensure scalability, security, reliability, and operational excellence. Design and enhance container orchestration frameworks supporting enterprise-scale applications and services. Provide architectural guidance on Kubernetes cluster design, workload management, networking, security, observability, and platform governance. Support cloud transformation initiatives by enabling standardized Kubernetes practices across diverse technology landscapes. Participate in architecture reviews, platform assessments, roadmap planning, and technology governance activities. Advocate DevOps, Agile, cloud-native, and platform engineering principles across development and operations teams. Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for platform modernization, automation, and operational efficiency improvements. What You Bring to the Table: 6+ years of overall experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or enterprise architecture roles. Extensive hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in large-scale enterprise environments. Strong experience designing and supporting Kubernetes platforms across both on-premises and Microsoft Azure cloud environments. Deep understanding of containerization technologies, cloud-native architectures, and microservices platforms. Experience defining enterprise platform standards, governance frameworks, and architectural best practices. Strong knowledge of platform security, scalability, resilience, networking, and operational management. Experience working with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and Agile delivery models. Proven ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate with multiple architecture and engineering teams. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills. You Should Possess the Ability to: Design and govern enterprise-scale Kubernetes platforms and cloud-native architectures. Influence architectural decisions across multiple teams and organizational domains. Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable platform solutions. Drive adoption of standardized engineering and operational practices. Evaluate existing environments and recommend modernization and optimization strategies. Balance governance requirements with engineering agility and innovation. Communicate architectural concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and platform strategy initiatives. Work independently while managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
