What you'll be doing:

The Production Technician plays a vital role in the Postproduction department, ensuring that every decorated garment meets strict quality standards and is prepared for accurate, on-time shipping. This position is responsible for the timely, precise completion of order fulfillment tasks, compliance with established procedures, and accurate documentation. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining efficiency and product excellence.

- Inspect decorated garments to ensure they meet defined quality standards, accurately identifying and addressing any issues.
- Verify the accuracy of work orders and finished products prior to shipping.
- Perform shipping and order fulfillment tasks, ensuring products are packed, labeled, and shipped according to company and customer requirements.
- Maintain strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
- Flexibility to rotate between departments and assist on an as-needed basis.
- Support smooth communication and positive working relationships with team members, supervisors, and management.
- Collaborate as a team player by assisting coworkers when needed.
- Proactively identify problems, suggest improvements, and communicate significant concerns to management.
- Perform general machine and equipment maintenance; promptly report issues to the maintenance team.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and overall quality.
- Consistently meet production metrics, quality standards, and shipping deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and assist in resolving workflow challenges.
- Obtain and maintain company-required certifications (e.g., forklift, truck license, or other equipment operation qualifications).
- Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and housekeeping guidelines.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Operate assigned equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Complete routine reports and maintain accurate records.
- Use basic computer and math skills as needed for daily tasks.
