Job Title - Architect Intern

Stanley Consultants is seeking an Architect Intern for our Muscatine, IA office. This position requires the application of standard architectural judgement while executing design tasks within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.


  • Work with licensed architects to prepare architectural construction drawings utilizing  Revit, AutoCAD, and OpenBuildings.
  • Assist in performing basic analysis of design and construction systems, planning and occupancy studies, design layouts and construction details.
  • Assist in researching and compiling information for use in writing specifications.
  • Inspecting project sites and  preparing field reports on observations.
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be detail-oriented and a self-starter with ability to work with some degree of independence.
  • Must be able to work on several projects at one time.
  • Possess above average, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a general knowledge of construction techniques.
  • Requires the ability to read drawings and specifications.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of conceptual design.
  • Proficiency in Revit is required, AutoCAD and OpenBuildings skills are a plus.
  • Working towards architecture licensure.
