Stanley Consultants is seeking an Architect Intern for our Muscatine, IA office. This position requires the application of standard architectural judgement while executing design tasks within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Work with licensed architects to prepare architectural construction drawings utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, and OpenBuildings.

Assist in performing basic analysis of design and construction systems, planning and occupancy studies, design layouts and construction details.

Assist in researching and compiling information for use in writing specifications.

Inspecting project sites and preparing field reports on observations.

Must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.

Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.

Must be detail-oriented and a self-starter with ability to work with some degree of independence.

Must be able to work on several projects at one time.

Possess above average, professional written and verbal communication skills.

Must have a general knowledge of construction techniques.

Requires the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Must have a thorough understanding of conceptual design.
