Product ManagementProduct Manager

StarCompliance is a leading market provider of employee compliance technology, trusted by 350+ global financial institutions to manage regulatory obligations, monitor employee activity, and mitigate risk.

Backed by private equity, we are investing in the next generation of our cloud native, AI enabled SaaS platform.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Product Manager to own and grow a portfolio of B2B SaaS compliance products across the StarCompliance platform.

This is a high impact product role focused on both existing product optimization and new product development. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, market dynamics, regulatory drivers, commercial opportunities, and competitive positioning, then translating those insights into products and features that deliver measurable value for customers and the business.

The successful candidate will identify where AI driven capabilities can improve existing products and create new opportunities.

This role reports to the Chief Product Officer
  • Own and evolve the roadmap for a portfolio of B2B SaaS compliance products, balancing customer value, commercial opportunity, regulatory relevance, technical feasibility, and strategic fit.
    • Develop a clear vision for your products, grounded in customer problems, market insight, product usage data, competitive analysis, and company strategy.
      • Prioritize roadmap initiatives based on measurable outcomes, including customer adoption, retention, revenue growth, operational efficiency, risk reduction, and competitive differentiation.
        • Define clear product success metrics and use them to guide discovery, delivery, launch, and ongoing optimisation.
  • Engage directly with customers, prospects, partners, sales, customer success, implementation, support, and industry experts to understand compliance workflows, unmet needs, and buying drivers.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the regulatory, operational, and commercial pressures facing financial services compliance teams.
      • Assess market demand, competitive alternatives, pricing and packaging potential, and monetisation opportunities for new and existing products.
        • Translate customer and market insight into product requirements, business cases, roadmap recommendations, and launch plans.
  • Lead product initiatives from discovery and requirements definition through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
    • Work closely with engineering, design, architecture, security, legal, compliance, sales, customer success, marketing, and implementation teams to deliver high quality SaaS products.
      • Manage trade offs across scope, timing, quality, customer commitments, regulatory expectations, and commercial impact.
        • Maintain a disciplined approach to delivery while staying responsive to changing market and customer needs.
  • Identify practical opportunities to use AI, automation, analytics, workflow intelligence, and data driven insights to improve customer outcomes.
    • Ensure AI enabled features are grounded in real customer problems and are designed with appropriate attention to explainability, trust, control, auditability, and regulatory sensitivity.
      • Partner with specialist AI product and technology teams where appropriate to bring advanced capabilities into your product area.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, and finance to support product positioning, pricing input, packaging strategy, revenue growth, and customer retention.
    • Support customer meetings, executive briefings, roadmap discussions, renewal conversations, and strategic account planning where product expertise is required.
      • Communicate roadmap priorities, trade offs, delivery progress, and product outcomes clearly to senior leaders and cross functional stakeholders.
        • Collaborate with other Product Managers to align roadmap dependencies, platform capabilities, shared workflows, and cross product customer experiences.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS products, especially multi-tenant platforms serving sophisticated B2B customers.
    • Demonstrated success managing existing products while also identifying and delivering new product opportunities.
      • Strong product discovery skills, including customer interviewing, problem validation, opportunity sizing, market research, roadmap prioritisation, and outcome definition.
        • Experience translating complex customer needs into clear product requirements and commercially viable roadmap plans.
          • Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS product design, including configurability, scalability, permissions, workflow, reporting, integrations, implementation, adoption, and supportability.
            • Ability to make thoughtful trade offs across customer needs, commercial priorities, regulatory expectations, technical constraints, and delivery capacity.
  • Experience building or managing products for financial services compliance is strongly preferred.
    • Ability to engage credibly with compliance leaders, risk teams, legal stakeholders, operations teams, and senior executives at enterprise customers.
      • Understanding of how highly regulated organisations evaluate, procure, configure, govern, and adopt enterprise software.
  • Strong commercial instincts, including the ability to connect product investment to revenue growth, customer retention, market expansion, and competitive advantage.
    • Experience contributing to pricing, packaging, SKU definition, business cases, market positioning, or go to market strategy.
      • Comfortable working with sales and customer success teams to understand pipeline demand, renewal risks, customer feedback, and expansion opportunities.
        • Ability to distinguish between individual customer requests and broader market opportunities.
  • Sufficient technical fluency to work effectively with engineering, architecture, security, data, and AI teams.
    • Practical understanding of modern SaaS platforms, APIs, integrations, data models, reporting, workflow automation, and enterprise security expectations.
      • Familiarity with AI enabled product capabilities, analytics, automation, and data driven decision support.
  • Excellent cross functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority across product, engineering, commercial, implementation, support, legal, and executive teams.
    • Strong executive presence, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders.
      • Highly structured thinker who can bring clarity to ambiguous problems and complex product decisions.
