Flex Server

Description

The Atlanta Marriott Peachtree Corners is seeking a professional, energetic, and guest-focused Flex Server to join our Food & Beverage team. This versatile individual will support multiple areas of hotel food and beverage operations, including restaurant service, banquet events, and the M Club lounge, helping create memorable experiences for hotel guests and event attendees.

The Flex Server is responsible for providing exceptional service across various food and beverage outlets and functions. Responsibilities may include restaurant service, banquet setup and service, maintaining M Club standards, replenishing food and beverage offerings, assisting with event execution, and ensuring all service areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs while consistently delivering Marriott's standards of hospitality.

• →Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to guests across restaurant, banquet, and M Club operations.
• →Greet guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• →Assist with restaurant food and beverage service, including taking orders, delivering meals, and processing payments as assigned.
• →Support banquet events by setting up event spaces, preparing service areas, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables.
• →Assist with banquet breakdown, room resets, and proper storage of equipment and supplies.
• →Maintain M Club standards by replenishing food and beverage offerings, monitoring presentation, and ensuring the lounge remains clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• →Monitor buffet and beverage stations, ensuring items are replenished and presented according to hotel standards.
• →Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, banquet spaces, service stations, and storage areas.
• →Follow established food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• →Assist with opening, closing, side work, and other operational duties as assigned.
• →Communicate effectively with Food & Beverage leadership and team members to ensure smooth operations across all outlets and events.
• →Adapt to changing business levels and staffing needs, supporting different areas of Food & Beverage as needed.
• →Maintain a professional appearance and conduct in accordance with Marriott and StepStone Hospitality standards.
• →Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, banquet, hotel, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to different service styles and work across multiple Food & Beverage outlets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
• Experience using POS systems preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Additional language ability preferred.
