  • Apply strong woodworking and cabinetmaking skills to determine practical methods for building new or unique furniture designs.
  • Inspect components and completed samples for quality, dimensional accuracy, fit, function, and craftsmanship.
  • Make adjustments and refinements to ensure samples meet design intent and Stickley quality standards.
  • Complete projects independently and efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Perform self-checks and follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Communicate questions, challenges, and improvement opportunities promptly with supervisors and team members.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in cabinetmaking, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, millwork, or a related skilled trade.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, measurements, and technical specifications.
  • Experience operating woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to visualize how components come together from drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop practical solutions for new furniture designs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing, and other teams.
  • Dependable work habits, good judgment, and a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
