Operating within a matrix structure, this role bridges global people strategies with local plant needs, driving engagement, process efficiency, and organizational transformation while nurturing a high-performing culture in a blue-collar manufacturing setting.
You will work directly in a role combining People Partnering tasks with the management of Operational responsibilities. In this role, you are expected to drive HR process efficiency, providing tactical HR partnership to the local management team and serving as a key operational anchor for the local team.
This position is based primarily at the Nanteuil-le-Haudouin Plant, with regular visits to the Paris office. It is a long-term sick leave replacement, lasting until the employee's return, for a maximum duration of 18 months.
In this role you will report in a matrix organisation to the Manufacturing HR team lead and work closely with the plant director.
The role will have regular interactions with People Operations and will be one of their key stakeholders.
Serve as a trusted tactical partner, aligning people strategies with business priorities.
Oversee standard employee lifecycle processes, performance reviews, pay reviews, and Workday system updates.
Handle day to day employee relations, providing clear solutions within labor law guidelines.
Process standard HR operations and ensure accurate payroll data management for France.
Connect local teams with corporate functions to ensure smooth rollout of group programs.
Support business leaders as a local expert during works council processes and early stage negotiations.
Analyze existing workflows to suggest and implement process improvements.
Drive engagement and create positive energy across the manufacturing organization.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture throughout the plant.
Execute key projects that improve efficiency and compliance across the employee lifecycle.
Maintain strict data quality, security, and compliance with local guidelines.
Bridge global people strategies with local plant needs to support organizational transformation.
Solve tactical and operational challenges using sound judgment and objective policy interpretation.
Professional experience as an HR Generalist, Junior People Partner, or HR Specialist in an international setting.
Background working on site within a manufacturing environment.
Practical knowledge of French labor law, core employee lifecycle stages, and standard HR practices.
Experience managing end-to-end HR processes, payroll coordination, and local regulatory reporting.
Working knowledge of HRIS systems for data entry and running reports.
Fluency in both French and English is essential for this position.
Experience working directly with Works Councils.
Hands-on proficiency with Workday HRIS.
Degree or formal education in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, or Business.
