Registered Nurse

Full Time Day Shift, Registered Nurse, Intensive Crisis Residence - At least one year of experience working with adults with mental illness is required.

St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester in Harrison, New York is seeking a dynamic, experienced Registered Nurse for a full time, day position in our Intensive Crisis Residence. The ICR will be a licensed, voluntary, short--term residential treatment program for adults experiencing a psychiatric crisis, providing treatment and supports to help residents return to their previous level of functioning in the community.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you will work in collaboration with our multidiscipline team, using the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

1. BSN 
2. NYS RN License
3. BLS
4. ACLS
5. At least one year of experience working with adults with mental illness is required.

Salary, Schedule, Benefits: 

1. NYSNA Union Rates: Base Hourly Rate $54.7520 additional compensation for years of experience.
2. Three twelve hour shifts per week. 7:15am - 7:45pm

Physical Requirements:

Sitting and standing for long periods of time, bending, lifting and pushing may be required; mobility within the department is expected.

Computer literacy is preferred; extended periods working with computers.
