Automation Specialist

Automation via Integration, this role will understand the Restful API integration between Sunbird Software and other vendors to integrate data between those systems

• →Integrate customers’ existing software with Sunbird software through REST APIs.
• →Integrate customers’ facility management devices, including generators, air conditioners, and other data center infrastructure, with Sunbird DCIM software.
• →Develop, maintain, analyze, and debug Python code used for integrations, automation, and data processing.
• →Develop integrations using Python libraries such as Requests, Pandas, and other API and data-processing libraries.
• →Analyze, scrub, transform, and migrate customer data from external sources into DCIM systems.
• →Process and correct raw customer data for migration, integration, and analysis.
• →Troubleshoot API, data, and integration issues throughout implementation.
• →Maintain integration and automation code using GitHub source control.
• →Work with REST API documentation, including Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
• →Use SQL to retrieve, analyze, validate, and troubleshoot customer and system data.
• →Use command-line tools in Linux and Windows environments to support integration and troubleshooting activities.

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• One year of experience providing customer support in a technical environment.
• Strong customer-facing project management, analysis, troubleshooting, and technical skills.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and API-based system integration.
• Working knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of JSON data structures and data exchange.
• Working knowledge of GitHub source control and version management.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting.
• Accountability and the ability to adapt, multitask, and manage changing priorities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and apply new skills quickly.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable and comfortable working with frequently changing priorities and direction.

• Introductory knowledge of PowerShell. • Introductory knowledge of command-line use in Linux and Windows.
• Basic knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
• Demonstrated basic technical knowledge of:
  • Computer hardware, including rack servers, PDUs, and cabling.
  • Windows operating systems.
  • Microsoft Excel and XLSX/CSV file creation.
• Ability to work flexible hours with the possibility of travel up to 10%.
