Snow Removal Attendant

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Operate 2-way radios for communication to other staff.
• Must possess a valid U.S. Drivers' License in good standing as determined by Sundance's Insurance Company guidelines.

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must be 16 years of age or older

The Snow Removal Attendant will be responsible for assisting the Grounds team on Snow Removal around Resort Base area, HOA's & Mountain Home units during active snowstorms. An active storm cycle is defined as the time between the first snowfall of a storm and the last snowfall of a storm with no more than 24 hours of no snow in between. Prior to forecasted active storm cycles, staff will be contacted and scheduled based on pre-determined scheduled availability. Staff will be required to submit scheduled availability for a minimum of two shifts (up to 10 hours) per week.

• →Snow removal on steps and pathways throughout resort, HOA's & Mountain Homes.
• →Staff must be able to shovel snow for long periods of time.
• →Staff must be able to operate Snow Blowers.
• →Spread ice-melt on pathways, steps, walkways, bridges, decks and patios as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, outside weather conditions and extreme cold. The employee is regularly exposed to mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to precarious places and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but occasionally loud.
