The Business Analyst, Finance Transformation is a newly created role on the Corporate Finance team reporting to the Manager, Finance Transformation. This role plays a key part in the delivery of multi-phase ERP re-implementation, driving alignment between business needs and system solutions while acting as a liaison between Finance and IT. In addition, this role supports core FP&A and reporting activities, as well as continuous improvement initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys driving change, improving processes, and working cross-functionally to modernize finance capabilities.

Responsibilities

Finance Transformation & Project Work

· Serve as a key Finance representative in an ERP re-implementation and broader finance transformation program

· Partner closely with IT, implementation partners, and business stakeholders to define and deliver system and business process improvements

· Gather and document business requirements to support finance solutions

· Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business and operational needs

· Translate business and financial requirements into functional specifications for system design and configuration

· Support all phases of the project lifecycle, including current state assessment, solution design, user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and go-live readiness

· Contribute to change management activities, including documentation, user training, support and adoption

Operational Finance & FP&A

· Partner with the FP&A team to deliver regular financial reporting, including variance analysis and performance insights

· Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

· Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and provide actionable recommendations

· Enhance reporting capabilities through improved use of ERP and BI tools

· Identify and drive opportunities to standardize, automate, and improve financial processes and reporting

Requirements

· 3–5 years of progressive experience in Finance, with a focus on financial reporting or FP&A using large ERP or FP&A tool

· 2+ years of experience in finance transformation initiatives supporting large-scale finance or transformation projects, such as ERP or other enterprise system implementations

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

· Professional designation (CPA, PMP, or equivalent) is considered an asset

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and core finance processes (record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash)

· Advanced Excel skills (including Power Query and Power Pivot) and experience with BI tools are assets

· Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and stakeholder partnership skills

· Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced transformation environment

· Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on process optimization and automation
