• →Pickup & Delivery: Pick up and deliver envelopes, packages, shopping bags, garment bags, and other items safely and on time throughout Manhattan.
• →Route Navigation: Travel primarily on foot and use public transportation as needed to complete time-sensitive deliveries efficiently.
• →Dispatcher Communication: Stay in regular contact with dispatch throughout the shift to receive assignments, provide updates, and communicate delays or delivery issues.
• →Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers at offices, retail locations, hotels, studios, and other delivery destinations.
• →Delivery Documentation: Accurately track pickups and deliveries, obtain required signatures, and verify addresses and recipient information.
• →Package Handling: Handle all packages carefully and securely while following company procedures and delivery instructions.

• Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Manhattan and the NYC subway system
• Comfortable using a smartphone and navigation applications
• Ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
• Comfortable walking and standing throughout the workday and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely carry delivery items weighing up to approximately 14 lbs.
• Able to work independently and adapt to changing, time-sensitive delivery assignments
• Prior courier, messenger, delivery, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required
