Anterior Segment Ophthalmologist – Atlanta, GA

Omni Eye Services of Atlanta is seeking an outstanding anterior segment surgeon to join one of the nation's most respected and established ophthalmology practices. For more than 45 years, Omni has been a leader in collaborative eye care, pioneering the co-management model that has become the standard throughout the country.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a surgeon who enjoys high-volume cataract surgery and is committed to delivering outstanding patient outcomes while working closely with the optometric community. Fellowship training is welcome, and experience with Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) and glaucoma management is strongly preferred.

Our nationally recognized practice is built on a collaborative co-management model with the optometric community and serves patients throughout metropolitan Atlanta.

• A highly experienced clinical and surgical support team
• Immediate access to a large surgical volume supported by an established referral network

• →Provide high-quality ophthalmic care with a focus on anterior segment surgery
• →Perform high-volume cataract surgery utilizing advanced surgical technology
• →Diagnose and manage glaucoma patients, including performing MIGS procedures
• →Collaborate closely with referring optometrists through an established co-management model
• →Communicate effectively with patients and referring providers
• →Participate in the education and mentorship of optometry students and residents
• →Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• →Contribute to the continued growth and innovation of the practice
• →Participate in call coverage as assigned

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency
• Fellowship training is welcome
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia
• Experience with or strong interest in MIGS and glaucoma management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to exceptional patient care and collaborative practice

• Full-time, 5 days per week
• Clinic schedule will build along with initial surgery day

• No traditional general call. Physicians provide backup coverage for their own patients and are available on an as-needed basis for urgent patient issues or resident support
