Education

• →High school diploma required; technical trade school certifications or equivalent field experience considered.
• →Registered apprenticeship, trade license (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pipefitting, wastewater, steam engineering, marine engineering), or equivalent technical training strongly preferred.

Experience

• →5–10 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance, utilities support, or mechanical/electrical building systems.
• →Experience in regulated environments such as cGMP biotech, pharmaceutical, or laboratory operations preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• →Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and building utilities.
• →Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex facilities issues independently.
• →Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, loop diagrams, and P\&IDs.
• →Familiarity with Building Management Systems and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• →Effective communication and customer service skills.
• →Ability to perform physical labor and work across multiple facility environments.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, stoop, or kneel. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. 

Work Environment: 

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job, including moderate noise level, an indoor temperate environment, and light levels that are bright and conducive to minimal eye strain, typical for an office environment.

The expected salary range for this position is $31 to $45 hourly. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
