As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient. You’ll work closely with providers and the clinical team while helping keep day-to-day clinic and laboratory operations running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• →Taking and documenting manual vital signs
• →Performing routine blood draws
• →Administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider
• →Maintaining laboratory equipment and documentation
• →Documenting lab results and quality-control information accurately
• →Preparing labs to be processed in-house or at an outside facility
• →Ensuring appropriate labs are ordered for each patient
• →Managing weekly inventory and assisting with ordering
• →Communicating effectively with team members
• →Assisting with front-desk responsibilities when needed
• →Creating a welcoming and positive patient experience
• →Working collaboratively with providers and fellow team members

We’re looking for someone who is personable, reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to jump in and learn.

You should have:

• A physical High School Diploma or GED
• At least 3 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist in a medical setting, or documented completion of 180 externship hours
• The ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Basic computer skills
• A strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• A positive, friendly attitude
• The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
• Flexibility to work some later hours and Saturdays
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification is preferred, but not required
• Experience performing venipuncture and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections is preferred

Candidates must also successfully complete a criminal background check.

This position requires availability for the following schedule:

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Up to 3 Saturdays per month: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
