About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Electronics students!  

Share your skills and passion for your industry, help students build the skills, qualifications, and employability to support their career goals. 

As a TAFE NSW Teacher, your role is to guide and enhance the learning process. You will be passionate and motivated to share your extensive Electronics experience and support students in developing practical, job ready skills. With experience delivering training in an adult learning environment, you will help students build their knowledge, gain valuable qualifications and achieve their career aspirations in the electrical industry.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

  1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications or equivalent, up to and including a Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in the electronics industry, gained no longer than five years previously.
  3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
  4. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
