The successful incumbent will be responsbile to develop and manage strategic partnerships to enhance the TakealotMORE program value proposition and drive business objectives. Strengthen TakealotMORE through partnerships for MORE deals, Retail Media and broader benefits. Oversee partnerships end to end; from identifying potential partners, to campaign coordination, to relationship management and reporting, while ensuring adherence to SLAs.

Responsibilities

Partnership Support & Execution:

  • Support the development and implementation of TakealotMORE partnership strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives for the Takealot Group.
  • Leverage partnerships to drive business objectives for TakealotMORE deals, Retail Media and broader benefits.
  • Assist in researching and identifying potential partnership opportunities through market analysis and competitor research.
  • Support partnership evaluations by conducting audience alignment analysis and impact assessments.

Campaign Management & Coordination:

  • Execute partnership campaigns from briefing through to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Creative, Content, Digital, Retail Media, Retail & Marketplace) and external partners to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
  • Develop and maintain campaign timelines, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed of progress.
  • Support the creation of campaign briefs and creative direction for partnership initiatives.

Relationship Management:

  • Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned partners, maintaining regular communication and relationship building.
  • Schedule and coordinate partnership meetings, calls, and check-ins
  • Support the Group Head of TakealotMORE in partner negotiations and agreement discussions.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Monitor and track partnership campaign performance against defined KPIs, metrics and SLA’s.
  • Compile regular performance reports and provide analysis on campaign effectiveness.
  • Support budget tracking and reconciliation for partnership activities.
  • Assist with monthly and weekly operational reporting.

Administrative & Operational Support:

  • Maintain partnership databases and documentation.
  • Support contract administration and partnership agreement management.
  • Coordinate partnership events, activations, and promotional activities.
  • Assist with budget management and purchase order processing.
  • Completed research reports and partnership strategies, aligned with marketing and business objectives.
  • Partner campaigns shipped on time and in line with brand guidelines, to deliver on campaign KPIs and objectives.
  • Regular communication logs and updates with partners.
  • Completed partnership agreements ahead of campaign launches.
  • Secured deals funding and Retail Media investment from brands and partners.
  • Performance reports analysing campaign effectiveness against KPIs, metrics, SLAs, budgets and targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience.
  • At least 1-2 years exposure to partnerships, sponsorships, or collaborative marketing.
  • Experience with campaign management and cross-functional project coordination.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
  • E-commerce, retail and subscriptions experience is advantageous.
  • Previous agency or client-side marketing experience preferred.
